Aside from Christmas lights and time with family, my number one favorite thing about the holiday season is giving gifts to others. I love everything about piecing together the perfect present from the moment I think of a great idea (or what I think is awesome…) to tying a bow on top to complete my wrapping. I have a tendency to want to top previous gifts from years past, but that’s another story entirely.

In case you’re stumped on what to give to your friends and family, I thought I would put together a $50 and under gift guide filled with gifts perfect for the girls on your list! You may even want to add one or two of these ideas to your list as a suggestion for a friend or family member who might be stumped. Honestly, I’ll make up any excuse to hunt for fun presents. ; )

You can’t go wrong with gold jewelry and accessories (that mug – perfect to use for your morning tea or coffee or as a pencil holder on your desk), or scarves and cozy PJ’s. The recipe cards are great to gift to a just married friend or one who has just moved into her first apartment. They’re also perfect for family members – fill them with your family’s secret recipes to pass down to a new generation or surprise your mom with some of your grandmother’s favorites. Aside from recipe cards, I’m a huge fan of stationery. I love the idea of Paper Junkies! My friend Sarah just started this program, and each month you’ll receive five one-of-a-kind cards to fill with handwritten notes. Lastly, the Monogrammed Weekend Bag and the Universal Charger are perfect for a girl on the go – travel in style, y’all!

Great ideas Carly! I love the Sherpa Suede & Gold Moccasins. You may find me at Old Navy checking them out (for myself, of course).
