There’s just something about long weekends. They’re wonderful. And then you realize that Monday means the start of a week much longer than the previous one. Eek! But that feeling is completely worth it if your weekend leaves you feeling full, and that’s exactly how I feel.
I had grand plans for Saturday – exchanges and returns to make as a result of my Black Friday adventures, a visit to one of my favorite local shops in honor of Small Business Saturday, and general errands to run around town. Instead of hopping in my car and driving from place to place, I decided to slow down and stay home for the majority of the day (and support a few small businesses online!). I put together my new camera (AH!), painted a series of canvases for a sweet friend, and watched a ton of “Modern Family”. My pajamas may or may not have stayed on for the entire day. ; ) It was bliss, and for the first time in a while I felt completely rested.
Yesterday, I completed a few Christmas projects. This week I hope to finish the remainder of my holiday to-do’s so I can truly enjoy this season all while making sure I continue to feel thankful for those around me that I know and just happen upon. So, Monday (and December!) – game on!
But first, watch this:
Tell me: what do you want to make happen in December? Let’s roll, y’all!
