I’m always interested to hear about the designers Target chooses for collaborations, but I have never been so excited about a collaboration. The Lilly Pulizer for Target launch is less than a week away (the collection launches on Sunday), and – let’s get real – I’m beside myself. After reading Lilly Pultizer’s biography a few summers ago, I’m so inspired by her drive and the brand she built. Of course, I also love Lilly Pulitzer’s bright and preppy patterns, and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to purchase a few pieces at a budget friendly price. I’m coveting a blouse, romper, bag, scarf, and shoes (and all of the other things).
With that said, I definitely feel like I have to have a game plan in place partially because a few of the items I would love to own are only sold online and partially because I’ll be in Charleston. However, just like Philadelphia, Charleston is home to me, so I’ll be pressing pause on my day at the beach in order to take an early morning drive to the closest Target. My priorities are clearly in order. ;)
As a result of my sincere excitement for the Lilly launch, there can’t be wedding inspiration more appropriate than citrus (Lilly started selling her dresses at juice stands after all!). Also, Lilly Pulitzer aside, I am genuinely obsessed with this palette at all times. Pink, orange, coral, yellow, and whimsical preppy details, here’s how I would style a bright wedding inspired by Lilly Pulizer:

Popsicle Cocktails – Weddbook, Peony Sweetheart Chair – Southern Weddings; Row 2: Invitation Suite: Southern Weddings, Bride & Groom with Balloons – Style Me Pretty; Row 3: Tablescape – Style Me Pretty, Donna Morgan Coral Bridesmaids’ Dresses – Style Me Pretty, Orange Escort Cards – Grey Likes Weddings
