When I was younger, one of my favorite pretend games to play was “store”. My friends and I were only allowed to purchase office supplies. This may or may not be normal when you’re five, but it’s safe to say my obsession with offices and office supplies started a long time ago.
Offices that exude comfort and style complete with bold pops of color always catch my eye. And when I saw the below office on Style Me Pretty Living, I decided instantaneously that it’s the space of my dreams. I love it all. The bulletin board filled with colorful inspiration is my absolute favorite piece. Naturally, the owner of this beautiful space is Alaina Kaczmarski who just happens to be one of the founders of one of my favorite sites – The Everygirl.

Even though I’m not quite ready to redo my current space, a girl can still dream, right? Always. :) White furniture, colorful art prints to hang with washi tape on a bulletin board, and preppy pillows – just a few of the pieces I would use to style an office inspired by Alaina’s space. PS: Each and every piece is perfect for a girl on a budget!
1. Things We Love Coffee Table Book from Kate Spade ($40.00) // 2. Striped Monogram Throw Pillow from Little Yellow Nest ($24.95) // 3. Floral Heart Print from Rifle Paper Co. ($24.00) // 4. Monogrammed Acrylic Pencil Cup from Design Darling ($14.00)// 5. Room 365 Pink Peony Rug from Target ($149.99) // 6. Threshold Windham Desk from Target ($169.99) // 7. Ektorp Loveseat from Ikea ($379)
I could have kept adding pieces, but there’s always my Interior Design board on Pinterest. ;) Describe your dream space or leave a link to your favorite interior pin from Pinterest! I would love to pin your favorites!
I remember the days of “store” very well! Not to mention all the times you served as wingperson during a Staples run :)
