I hope you’re planning to do something wonderful tonight. I spend New Year’s Eve the same way every year, tucked away reading a book or two by my favorite Christmas tree on Kiawah. Then I always hop onto the beach to watch the fireworks at midnight on the beach with my parents. A little lame to some, but it’s my favorite way to welcome in the New Year. I’ve been known to fight to make it happen. ; )

This year has been wonderful. In fact, it’s been my best year ever. I attended MTH, created this blog (one of my favorite things I’ve done to date), and a whole host of other wonderful things. If I’m being honest, I don’t want 2013 to end. I would much prefer to press pause and live here for a while longer. But that’s another story entirely.
Here’s to accomplishing goals, being creative, and continuing to realize how truly lucky and blessed I am in 2014. Happy New Year, everyone!
P.S: In order to truly soak up my time in Charleston, I’m stepping away from my computer screen and taking a bit of a break. I’ll be back ready to roll with new posts next Wednesday!
Happy New Year! I think 2014 will be even better than 2013 (I like even years!)
