One of my very favorite things about writing a wedding blog is having the opportunity to connect with new photographers, and Lucy is one of my favorites. She is so sweet and positive, and her Instagram feed has become one of my fast favorites. I love the photos she posts of her daughter and the sneak peeks of the gorgeous weddings she photographs in film. Naturally, I could not wait to see what Lucy decided to submit for her feature.
Oh, this wedding. From the very first image of Charlottesville’s Pippin Hill Farm, I was completely smitten. And then I caught my first glimpse of Amanda and David, in his formal military uniform, and I fell in love with their celebration (as in I could have hosted a dance party). Amanda’s gorgeous dress and delicate lace necklace, in addition to A+D’s rustic equestrian inspired décor are some of my favorite details. However, the aspect I love most about this celebration is the happiness and LOVE shared between Amanda and David. This wedding is one of my favorites of all time.
A note from Lucy: “Amanda and David were so lovely to work with! They are from the deep South and fell in love with Pippin Hill when they found it when on a trip to Virginia. It was the perfect place for their intimate, family focused wedding. They are so cute!”
