Introducing Carly is Inspired: The Shop

Last Wednesday was one of the most exciting days in such a long time. Not only was my photo shoot published on Heart Love Weddings, but I also launched Carly is Inspired: The Shop! In addition to offering event styling and design, I’ve always planned to expand the scope of my brand to include a small shop. Etsy quickly became an obvious choice!

When I was little, I spent so many days with my Nana and Poppy. Each time my mom would come to pick me up, I always hoped we would be able to stay for dinner. On the (very many) occasions when my mom said yes, I would get overly excited for her to arrive. While my Nana was making dinner, I would pretend to hang decorations in honor of my mom’s arrival and our special dinner. My Nana never said a word, but I’m pretty sure this was very strange to watch! However, I’m fairly certain my love for decorations and events started right there in my Nana’s kitchen.

I believe that having the opportunity to create anything is an honor. But creating details for an event is something truly special. Every detail intertwines together with the memories made. Creating something for your event, whether it’s your wedding, your best friend’s birthday, or your sister’s baby shower, is an opportunity to have a small party of a much larger picture.

If you can’t already tell, I’m inspired by bows. They’re whimsical, feminine, and just a little bit vintage. And they inspired my entire brand. Naturally, bows inspired many of my products too, including my drink stirrers, cupcake toppers, and garlands! The drink stirrers are sold in quantities of 25, and the cupcake toppers are sold in quantities of 12 (a standard bakery dozen). Each 6′ garland features nine bows, and will look so sweet hung at your event and used again in your creative space once your party has come and gone.
