Rather than simply recapping my vacation, I thought I would turn a few of my favorite places and memories into wedding inspiration posts. Exciting! First up, wildflowers. But first, a story…
I’ve loved sunflowers ever since…forever. I convinced my parents to let me purchase a seed packet and plant them in our backyard when I was little. I take any and every opportunity to admire and take pictures of them (and in the middle of fields with them…), so you can guess my level of excitement when I noticed the sunflowers were in bloom at my favorite farm, Rosebank Farms, right next to Kiawah. I ran through a field of wildflowers and could.not.stop.taking.pictures. It should be noted that I don’t discriminate. I love allllll of the wildflowers.
All photos are personal
In addition to my serious love for wildflowers, I also adore rustic themes. I cannot think of a more perfect setting than Rosebank Farms (or any farm really) for a fun daytime wedding! Yes, daytime. Take it in and get pumped. On the inspiration docket: wildflowers, a farm to table brunch (and donuts), photo ops with the cutest animals, and vintage wood furniture. Let’s roll!

Although slightly untraditional, I love the idea of hosting your wedding during the day for several reasons. Your overall rental costs will likely lessen due to your time of day (evenings are typically the most sought after). You and your guests will truly be able to enjoy your venue because everyone can see it during the day! Plus, your wedding’s overall feel will be much more casual and relaxed, which may just relax you and your groom as well. One point to keep in mind: just because you’re serving brunch does not mean your wedding must occur during the morning. Think about hosting an early afternoon ceremony immediately followed by your reception (or move your ceremony up to late morning). Make sure to keep getting ready times in mind though! An early start time for you means an early start time for your guests too.
What is your favorite type of wedding inspiration? I would love to design a board with your exact style in mind!

P.P. S: The venue and seating are lovely, but this entire wedding captured by A. Bryan Photo is completely beautiful. Definitely worth a peek!
